The game is developed by Impostor Cat Games, who created a game similar to Magical Drop and Money Idol Exchanger. So, if you’re a fan of 90s puzzle games and their upside-down boards, this is a great game to play with your friends locally and bury enemies under an avalanche of coins.
Funny and addictive
Fiscal Jesters is a multiplayer game that lets you play with up to four friends. All you have to do is choose a jester, sort your coins, and try to win by burying your opponents in coins. The game is simple. You just have to match coins in your pile to exchange them for even bigger coins. The game has chain reaction exchanges that boosts your moves.
However, the chains give you higher points if you’re playing in single-player mode. The game is a bit confusing at first, but it has an easy-to-understand and interactive tutorial that is very helpful for first-time players. You just need to make sure that you pull more of the funny focus onto you, and you’ll be sure to slip up your enemies.
It supports gamepad and keyboard controls. For gamepad controls, use the left and right buttons to move, down button or RT or LT to advance the next row of coins, A or B to grab coins from the pile, X or Y to throw the coins you held. For keyboard controls, basic arrow keys to move and advance, K or X to grab coins, and J or Z to throw.
Play with friends
Fiscal Jesters is a fun game to play regardless if you’re playing alone or with friends. The gameplay is similar to other coin puzzle games like Money Idol Changer, which isn’t exactly the most unique type of game. However, the theme and multiplayer capabilities of the game makes it stand out from other similar genres. After you get past the confusing start, it’s all fun from there.
